Stories In Trance are back for 2021 with this sensational new release from Vaali! This is SIT 178 - the two track single Another Truth, including the Original and Matt Mancid remix.

Up first is the Original mix. Vaali follows on from his recent remix of Matt Mancid's Ad Astra with this brilliant original creation. This time out Vaali offers up a more progressive style, as superb melodic touches are perfectly complemented by the captivating vocals to create a beautiful atmosphere wrapped in an engaging dynamic structure. It all comes together to create a truly sensational track! Another exceptional addition to Vaali's immense discography, and a great release to start 2021 for SIT.

On remix duties is Matt Mancid. After his excellent recent original production Ad Astra (SIT 177) Matt returns with this epic remix. A genuinely talented producer, Matt shows what he's capable of yet again by blending several elements of his diverse production style to create this trance masterpiece. Yes, it is that good! Superb progression is offered up by well defined layering leading to a proper climactic peak, this is a showcase of expertly crafted melodic and vocal elements all combining to deliver a big time piece of trance.

As promised, The Chapters returns for 2021! Our first episode of the year features a choice little selection of some absolutely cracking slices of trance. 

We lead with the massive new track on SIT from Vaali, a rarely heard belter from Signum, Peter Santos, Ferry Corsten & Trance Unity, Armin Van Buuren, Klubbingman & Andy Jay Powell bagging the accolade of our SIT Special Mention for the second time, Temple One showing us how he used to smash them out the park regularly a decade ago with a sublime new track, Push, Matt Mancid, retro flavours accurately captured by Seven Lions with Haliene, and a beautiful piece from Trance Wax featuring the vocal talents of Moya Brennan to close.

The final edition of The Chapters has landed, just in time to celebrate some of the very best productions of the year! As is customary, our End Of Year Special gives you extra tracks over a regular Chapter, and despite this being challenging times 2020 has produced some cracking slices of trance. 

We feature Vaali, Dreams & D.N.A., Ron with Leeds, an excellent remix from Lasse Macbeth, Armin Van Buuren, more classic flavours from Push, an old-school interlude from Joy Kitikonti just to mix things up, Craig London, an absolute belter from DMPV & Anveld, Armin Van Buuren under his famous Rising Star moniker, SIT's Special Mention in the shape of Vaali with a truly superb remix of the latest release here on SIT from Matt Mancid, a re-release worthy of more attention from Duderstadt and Sean Tyas returning to form with some style to take us home.

Headlining is the Original Mix. German producer Matt Mancid follows up his excellent recent remix of Craig London's Avalanche (SIT 175) with his first original track on SIT since 2013. Uplifting and emotive, Matt blends all the aspects of his diverse production style to create this euphoric masterclass. Dynamically structured and ever evolving, this is a showcase of expertly crafted melodic and atmospheric elements all combining to deliver an energetic and emotive piece of trance.

On remix duty we have Vaali with yet another truly unique interpretation of an original. Vaali follows on from his recent Double A-sided single Aura / Lost (SIT 176) with this genuinely sensational remix. This time out Vaali offers up things in a more uplifting style than his recent work and it delivers with some effect! He adds his own inimitable production finesse to the fineries of the original, along with beautiful atmosphere and a brilliant structure, and it all adds up to a truly superb track. For your consideration, we present the latest release from Stories In Trance in the shape of SIT 176 - here is Vaali with the double A-sided single Aura / Lost.

Arthur Valiev, under his familiar and well regarded Vaali alias follows on from his most recent work - his superb original Mirage (SIT 174, which was supported by Solarstone) - and carries on his top form here with these fantastic productions. Headlining the release is Aura and in keeping with all Arthur's work it shows off his immense production technique and wide range of abilities. Arthur knows how to create great melodies and here the fabulous lead is expertly layered over beautiful atmospherics and a properly dynamic structure that, as we now expect from Vaali productions, is engaging right from the start. 

In the other half of this potent double A-side we find Lost, which like Aura showcases a wide spectrum of Vaali's production finesse. Another fine track, but with a slightly different feel to Aura, yet still retaining all the qualities of Vaali's more progressive sound.

10 years of Stories In Trance, and for the sixth episode of 2020 we return to the trance scene back in 2010 with some of the best tracks from that year that have yet to feature in any previous Chapters. This special edition has some absolute crackers in, kicking off with a big-hitting vocal smash from Tritonal Featuring Cristina Soto, a superb and underrated remix from Christopher Vassilakis, the SIT Special Mention in the form of Tiesto’s Allure, M.I.K.E., Phynn, SHato, DJ Eco & Pacheco, SIT’s own Derrick Meyer reshaping Airborne Angel’s Apollo. Ilya Soloviev and a beautifully evocative remix from Suncatcher rounding things off.

These are genuine modern classics right here, nicely proving the point that great trance will always stand the test of time.
