10 years of Stories In Trance, and for the sixth episode of 2020 we return to the trance scene back in 2010 and return with some of the best tracks from that year that have yet to feature in any previous Chapters. This special edition has some absolute crackers in, kicking off with a big-hitting vocal smash from Tritonal featuring Cristina Soto, a superb and underrated remix from Christopher Vassilakis, the SIT Special Mention in the form of Tiesto's Allure, M.I.K.E., Phynn, SHato, DJ Eco & Pacheco, SIT's own Derrick Meyer reshaping Airborne Angel's Apollo, Ilya Soloviev and a beautifully evocative remix from Suncatcher rounding things off.

Stories In Trance present to you SIT 174 by Vaali with the two track single Mirage. The Original Mix was supported by Solarstone In Pure Trance Radio 250 on 12th August.

Heading the release is, as is proper, the original mix. Arthur Valiev, under his familiar and well regarded Vaali alias follows on from his most recent work - a superb remix of SNDWV's Tucana (SIT 173) - and carries on his top form here with this fantastic production. Much like all Arthur's work this track shows off his immense production technique and wide range of abilities. Arthur knows how to create great melodies and here the fabulous lead is backed up expertly by richly textured atmosphere, beautiful vocal layering and an ever evolving structure that, like all Vaali productions, is engaging right from the start. As supported by Solarstone In Pure Trance Radio 250.

The other half of this potent release is the Soundwave Progressive Remix. Italian producer Adrian Iamandei (under his Soundwave alias) follows on from his last original on SIT - Tucana (SIT 173) - with this superb remix. He expertly blends a euphoric and atmospheric feel, brilliantly balancing the lead melody with beautiful layering and potent percussive elements. Another fantastic reinterpretation from Adrian to add to his genuinely impressive discography of originals and remixes on SIT.

Yet another release that once again shows why Stories In Trance is the most diverse and individual label in trance. SIT 175 Craig London - Avalanche

Stories In Trance hits 175 releases with a quite brilliant offering from Craig London with the two track single Avalanche.

Headlining is the Original Mix. Stories In Trance legend Craig London is back going solo for this project, for the first time since his original track Dunes (SIT 158), after a spell of tracks and remixes in collaboration with Alex Niko. Avalanche is definitively Craig London, expertly combining a melodic and euphoric feel with great energy and perfectly balanced atmospheric layering, resulting in this well defined, superbly uplifting slice of trance. Nothing short of the usual quality one expects from Craig.

On remix duty we have Matt Mancid. We are delighted to welcome back German producer Matt Mancid to SIT after a little break from productions and this offering is a fantastic way to announce himself back to the trance scene. He takes the track down a truly unique uplifting path, blending all the strongest features of the original with his own production expertise. This remix is a real stand out track, with a fantastic structure that evolves and develops right from the start, culminating in what is without doubt a fabulous piece of trance.

STORIES IN TRANCE - CHAPTER 70 (TENTH YEAR SPECIAL)

10 years, 175 releases, 70 Chapters. Some achievement, we think you'll agree! So the fifth episode of 2020 celebrates the tenth anniversary of The Chapters, and to mark the occasion we have a special 'old-school' style episode that showcases what The Chapters have always stood for, bringing you the best in trance, regardless of release date.

In this edition we feature some of the best from yesterday that have never featured in a Chapter before; big hitting trance from Tiesto, Kamaya Painters, Armin Van Buuren, Liquid Child, and a 10/10 track from Yves Deruyter. Then we bring it right up to now (well, almost!) with some fresh-out-the-packet trance goodness from legend Ferry Corsten, Ferry Tayle, an older but no less quality offering from Judge Jules & Roger Shah, the brand new release from us here at SIT in the shape of Matt Mancid's remix of Craig London's Avalanche, and Sean Mathews' absolute banger Starting A Fire being bestowed with the title of SIT's Special Mention to wrap it up.

The Stories In Trance legacy continues with our next offering, SIT 173 by SNDWV with the two track single Tucana, including the fantastic original and Vaali remix.

We start in traditional format with the Original mix leading the way. Italian producer Adrian Iamandei under his SNDWV alias follows on from his last original on SIT - Alpha Librae (SIT 164) - with another superlative original production. He expertly blends a euphoric and energetic feel, superbly balancing the lead melody with driving low-end punch and potent percussive elements via excellent production finesse. Another fantastic creation from Adrian to add to a genuinely impressive discography; a producer held in the highest regard by SIT and fans alike and with tracks like this it is easy to see why.

On remix duty is another SIT legend, Arthur Valiev, under his familiar and well regarded Vaali alias. Following on from his most recent work, the Vaali remix of London & Niko's Siren (SIT 170) he carries on his top form here with this fantastic production. Much like all Arthur's work this track shows off his immense production technique and wide range of abilities and once again he takes his remix down a truly unique route. Arthur knows how to use great melodies and here the fabulous lead is backed up expertly by rich atmosphere, beautiful guitar layering and effectively complemented all the way through with an ever evolving structure that will have you hooked right from the start.
