Trackitdown.net Feature SIT 149 I5land - Word Of Interest
We are delighted to share that Trackitdown.net have featured SIT 149 I5land - Word Of Interest. On the back of that they have asked us for a new chart. The chart features some of our favourite tracks and remixes from Stories In Trance. Including Max Stealthy & Triumvirate, Airborne Angel, Craig London, I5land, Thunderwolf, Danny Legatto, Sanglare & Vince Schuld.
This is Stories In Trance, and as our legacy continues to unfold we give you SIT 149 by I5land with the three track single Word Of Interest, including the Original and remixes from Danny Legatto & Sanglare.
As is proper, we kick things off with the original mix. Czech producer Ludek Simcik (under his now familiar I5land moniker) follows on from his last appearance on SIT - a cracking remix of Vince Schuld's Places We've Never Seen (SIT 141) - with a great original production. He uses a powerful driving low-end whilst keeping a melodic and uplifting feel, complimented by well defined piano and atmospheric layering keeping the track evolving throughout. Trance at it's very best!
The first remix on this release comes from Danny Legatto. Polish producer Danny Legatto (AKA Roman Korbut) makes his third appearance on SIT following on from his fabulous remix of Craig London's 7 Symbols (SIT 140). Danny sticks to his now well honed uplifting style whilst adding his own energetic touches to the piece. He uses the lead to great effect, perfectly complimenting the melodic feel of the original with beautifully emotive layering. Another fantastic production to add to Danny's ever growing reputation.
Finishing off the release is the Sanglare remix. On the back of their long awaited return to production with SIT, their superb original track Punchy (SIT 144), Sanglare follow that with a great remix. Using all the best bits of the original, whilst perfectly complimenting them with deep, textured mids and bass, they are blended together expertly into a fantastically melodic and euphoric track. It's good to have them back, and with trance like this it is easy to see why.
Another release that once again shows why Stories In Trance is the most diverse and individual label in trance. Always driven by the ideals that we started out with and our ever keen attention to detail, we encourage freedom of expression from all involved in our projects. The end result is pure, undiluted creativity. Because of this, and above all, we are proud to put them out there.
Stories In Trance are extremely proud to present SIT 148 by Airborne Angel with the four track Arctic Sunrise EP.
Airborne Angel (Gustaf Westin) will forever be held in the highest regard by all at SIT, with his track Apollo starting our label's journey in superlative style back in the summer of 2010. His fantastic work continued to grace Stories In Trance over the years and was met with acclaim from DJ's, fellow producers and trance fans alike. The mixture of instantly memorable lead melodies and the unmistakable production finesse always proved to be a winning combination within the trance scene. Nearly four years since his last appearance on SIT - his remix of Skywell's Awakening (SIT 89), Airborne Angel is back with a new EP!
Up first is the original mix of Arctic Sunrise and what a way to reintroduce himself to the trance scene. This track is unmistakably Airborne Angel, expertly blended with some new production touches, resulting in what is sure to be among the best tracks of 2017.
Secondly is Gustaf's Brake Force mix of Arctic Sunrise. This track perfectly balances all the brilliance of the original along with the classic uplifting style of Gustaf's previous work on SIT. Something extremely special indeed, and acts as a great reminder of when we first found Airborne Angel's early work on Nu-Depth and Levare before we were lucky enough to start showcasing his work here on Stories In Trance.
The third part of the EP is Call It Faith. This track is similar to his latter work on SIT, namely the two remixes of Skywell's Gothenburg and Awakening, and nicely illustrates his creativity and diversity as a producer. A fantastic lead melody is combined brilliantly with a beautiful atmosphere, driving low-end power and energetic percussion.
The final part of the EP comes in the shape of Letters. More of the same Airborne Angel excellence, an instantly recognisable lead melody set superbly with all the refined underpinnings and production garnish that make his work so good. This EP will certainly be one of the best releases of 2017 and is something we are very proud to have on SIT.

Stories In Trance - Chapter Forty One. The Fourth episode of 2017, and we bring things bang up to date with some of the best new trance. Including tracks and remixes from Airborne Angel, I5land, PureNRG, Vince Schuld, Factor B, Suncatcher & Sarah Lynn, Clef & Canberra Featuring Jonny Rose, Max Stealthy & Triumvirate, M.I.K.E. Push and Craig London.
Stories In Trance are delighted to present SIT 147 by Max Stealthy & Triumvirate with the three track single Pororoca.
Stories In Trance legend Max Stealthy and SIT's own Triumvirate decided to embark on a collaboration in late Summer 2016, initially starting with an idea put down by Max, then Triumvirate shaped and structured Max's idea into a full track. After over 30 hours of studio time we proudly present the original mix, and what a final product is served up! The track balances both distinctive elements of the two artists whilst fusing the two individual styles and sounds, ending up with something truly unique. The powerful low end and melodic components offered by Max blend superbly with the atmospheric layering, structure and percussive style of Triumvirate resulting in this uplifting masterpiece. Both artists poured their hearts and souls into this project, bringing their customary production techniques to the table along with both producers adding some completely new and innovate ideas to the overall piece. This is exactly what a collaboration should be with the two artists bringing there best to the project. The end product is sure to be a real standout track in 2017.
The first of two remixes comes from Ico. Ico (John Erikkson) has made five brilliant appearances so far on SIT, most recently his fantastic remix of Konstantin Svilev's Flight (SIT 126). Ico delivers a powerful, energetic, uplifting and emotional trancer with which he expertly combines all the best bits from the original version with his now customary production flavour. This track is epic trance at its finest.
The second remix comes from Oliver Imseng. One of Stories In Trance's favourite producers, Oliver Imseng makes a welcome return to producing with this sublime remix. Oliver's understanding and application of trance production is always a real pleasure to behold, his mastery of the different frequencies really stands out along with his creative musical flair. This remix combines all the excellence of the original with Oliver's style, class and sophistication which all adds up to an energetic, beautiful and extremely well balanced creation.
A special mention to Dan Garton who not only makes up 33.3% of Triumvirate but his supreme sound engineering skills have been applied perfectly on this release.

Stories In Trance present SIT 146 by Craig London- this is The Hell Raiser EP.
SIT mainstay Craig London backs up his most recent outing (his remix of Punchy- SIT 144) with this superb three track EP.
First up is the title track Hell Raiser. This, with Craig's now customary energetic flavours, expertly combines an aggressive and euphoric feel, balanced perfectly with brilliant melodic layering.
Next is Take Me To My High Place, a big room trancer with a powerful kick and trance bass, which is complimented in fine style by clever layering, namely the vocal chop and the attack on the lead melody.
Finishing off the EP is Tunnel Vision. This driving track has a fantastic feel, beautiful atmosphere and dark, uplifting underpinnings. A brilliant way to finish off this awesome EP.
A nod once again to Dan Garton whose mastering excellence has made this release the finished article, polishing the tracks off in the best possible way.
