This is Stories In Trance, and we present to you SIT 117 by Katrik with his three track single Emotions.

As always we have the Original first up and it's a debut release for new producer Roman Katrinesku under his alias Katrik. Emotions is a driving, energetic track with uplifting and techy elements all expertly underpinned by gloriously well rounded low-down power. This is big room trance at its best! If future tracks from Katrik are of this high standard then there will be plenty more to look forward to from this talented producer, and SIT will be featuring more of his work very soon.

The first remix comes from Finnish duo Teppo Herttuainen & Timo Pitkänen, AKA Bluebear Project. Over their production career they have had appearances on labels such as Blue Trance Records, Colorful, Daif & Andromeda, and here they make a first appearance on Stories In Trance. After a break from producing they have returned with an absolute stormer in the shape of this sublime remix. A truly imaginative interpretation, building around all the qualities of the original, they give us an instant classic. Interesting from the very start and ever developing this is a track to savour, an awesome return to music, and a great sign of things to come from the undoubted talents of this Finnish pair.

The final part of this release comes from Basil XM. Fresh from his first appearance on SIT with his stunning remix of Craig London's Another Beginning (Trance Is Here), (SIT 115) Basil is back with another fantastic remix. This reinterpretation is a perfect mix of the style of the original excellently balanced against Basil's own production technique to give us another stellar production from a very exciting new artist.

Triumvirate are back! Stories In Trance are delighted to give you SIT 116 with the three track single Still Glow The Embers.

Fresh from the huge release of Nostalgic Echo (SIT 108) Triumvirate return with the 'Keepers Of The Fire' mix of Still Glow The Embers. With somewhere near 80 studio hours invested in this production no stone has been left unturned with this truly special track. Every element has been expertly crafted, polished and engineered with the upmost care and attention. This track has a grand feel right from the start, powerful, energetic and emotional, this track has it all. Every single second of this piece of music is vital to the overall dynamic, no time wasted, every moment captivating. Rich, deep low end power provides the underpinnings which are complimented by sweeping saws and arps, a stunning piano layer, and aggressive, ever evolving percussion provides the garnish and it is all beautifully complimented by the emotive vocals. No sample packs or stems, every part of this track has been created from scratch. This is for everyone who truly loves all that is great about trance.

The first remix comes from Germany's Matt Mancid. On the back of his stellar remix of Igor Stroom's Yushanly (SIT 109) Matt is on remix duties again with another superb offering. He takes the track down a more progressive path, using all of the original's fantastic components and musical elements to brilliant effect. This offers a great alternative to the original and once again adds to Matt's ever growing reputation as a top class producer.

The third part of this release comes from Russia's Konstantin Svilev. Konstantin made his debut with us at the start of 2013 and since then has played a big part on SIT with several fine tracks and remixes: most recently his remix of Thunderwolf's REborn (SIT 111). He is at his very best again with this energetic and ever developing remix. Musically he remains quite close to the original not only in composition but in style, delivering an uplifting stormer. As always he adds his now trademark production flair to the piece and does so in fine style. By his own admission this is one of Konstantin's very best productions, something very special indeed.

Stories In Trance continue with SIT 115, and a return for Craig London’s epic Trance Is Here Anthem - Another Beginning.

After the initial release of Craig London's A New Beginning (Trance Is Here Anthem, SIT 107) written in association with the new Trance Is Here brand, all three parties decided to run a remix competition for the track and release the winners. The competition started in December 2014 and ended at the end of January 2015, and during that time a very impressive standard of remixes were entered. After some very careful consideration we decided to release these three remixes.

Up first we have the Basil XM remix. Hailing from Moldova, 19 year old Basil gives us a sublime remix, one that hopefully sets the standard for his future productions. Taking the track down a more progressive route he shows immense production flair using the lead to superb effect along with fantastic atmospheric touches. He has shown in this remix that he is an emerging talent and someone we are excited to work with more at SIT.

The second winner comes from Elia. Sticking closer to the Original with its uplifting style he elaborates on the already definitive lead melody and harmonic layering with fabulous results. Energy, power and emotion are in full supply in this awesome remix, a must for trance fans and DJ's alike.

Rounding off this release is the Fernando T.R. remix. Mexican Fernando Torres Rojas shows genuine musical knowledge with this progressive masterpiece. Brilliant production techniques are on full display here, using the lead in fine style along with beautiful atmospheric layering this is a musical tour de force from a very creative producer.

The ideals behind this release once again reinforce our long standing mantra that if the music's good enough then whoever you are and wherever you are from your creative output can find a home with us.

Stories In Trance give to you SIT 114 by Thunderwolf with the two track single Nothing Will End.

First is the Original. One of Taiwan’s finest, Tseng Chih Young made his debut with us in the Summer of 2013, and since then SIT have been proud to present his many superb tracks and remixes under the now well established Thunderwolf moniker; the most recent  being his original REborn (SIT 111) and his remix of Igor Stroom's Lights (SIT 112). This time he takes his newest original track down a more progressive route than the last, and the end result is something really special indeed. Superb melodic components are enhanced further by fantastic atmospheric layering which gives the track a beautiful feel. This is another brilliant creation from a truly excellent producer.

The other half of this potent little package is the Markus Presents Mark Angel's Hard Remix. Marco Angelici (fresh on the back of SIT 113- Summer Memories) turns his hand to a remix for the first time for us, and comes up with a fabulous result. Hailing from Italy you can really feel the influence of the great trance to come from there over the years in his work, with notable audible nods to the incomparable BXR label. He uses all the melodic brilliance from the original, reinterpreted via his own production techniques, and the result is something to be savoured.

Stories In Trance proudly offer up SIT 113 by Markus Presents Mark Angel with the three track single Summer Memories.

As should always be the way, up first is the Original Mix. Marco Angelici AKA Markus made his first and only appearance so far on SIT with Smoke Of Glory (SIT 55) but now he is back under his new Mark Angel alias with the brilliant Summer Memories. Hailing from Italy you can really hear the influence of all the great trance to come from there over the years, with notable audible nods to the incomparable BXR label. Summer Memories is a musical treat with superb vocals supported by a beautiful melody and fabulous effects and layering. This is a superb track that shows no shortage of creativity and imagination.

The first of two remixes comes from SIT favourite Max Stealthy. His last appearance with us was his truly special version of Zos Van Zindell's Falling Into Darkness (SIT 103) and once again he is on top form with yet another massive remix. Taking this version down a more uplifting route he expertly uses all the melodic components against a punchy low-end and driving mids to awesome effect. Perfectly blending the atmospheric elements which nicely adds substance and depth to the mix, it all comes together superbly in this top class production.

The second remix comes from another SIT icon Craig London. Craig's career to date has seen him make plenty of impressive appearances on SIT with some fine remixes and originals, most recently his awesome remix of Igor Stroom's Yushanly (SIT 109). Just like Max he takes his version down a more energetic path, with this infectious track using all the melodic excellence from the original Craig finely crafts the memorable vocals to make them a main feature of the track. Nothing less than the quality one now expects with a Craig London production, and is a perfect way to round off another stand-out offering from Stories In Trance.

The deadline has past and the entries are in, after very careful deliberation we have the results.
